Pioneer’s WiFi XDJ-Aero DJ Controller ditches the cord
So long stupid wires! Pioneer is turning up the knob on the DJ world with the soon-to-be-released XDJ-Aero, a Wifi-enabled DJ controller. While you can’t quite cut the cord completely, you can however connect up to four devices. Whether it be a smartphone, tablet, laptop or a PC, you can use a WiFi connection to sync with the controller. Of course outputting to your desired sound system will still require the tether. On the other hand now you can have others sync to your controller and offer up tracks to be dished out. The XDJ-Aero is also a 24-bit audio interface, along with being a two-channel mixer. You can have your own XDJ-Aero for a price tag of $1,399 later on this month.
