Now that we got you here, we want to keep you here, forever and ever and ever. We’re evil like that.  Tongue and cheek aside, we really set out to create an environment that could be continually engaging.  So lets go over a few  of ways we’re planning on accomplishing this:

Community Forums

Let’s face it, this place was built upon community. Forum software was always the roots of this too, without a forum, this place wouldn’t have been jack. So having a community forum will always be a core of our website. In order to create the bad ass website we have, we had to disconnect the software running the forums and the front end of our website. We wouldn’t be able to have a quarter of the cool features we have now if we continued to use the forums to run our entire site. But to bridge this gap we did setup the ability for all forum users to post comments on the new website with their username. No extra login required, simply sign into the forums, come to the front of the website and interact.

Social Engagement

Facebook & Twitter users have the ability to post comments on articles with ease. We’ve also got some rad tools for posting and sharing articles with other social media services.

Content Rating

Albums, songs, and videos posted can now be rated, ranked and sorted. If you want to know what others think about an album you can get a decent idea based on ratings. Of course though, we highly urge you to check out the releases for yourself. Lets not forget a ton of music gets released on this website for FREE! So it won’t hurt you to support independent artists and form your own opinions. Do-it-yourself music will always be at the heart of this website.
